Hi, Nice to Meet You

Well, hi there. If you made it this far, welcome! Nice to meet you.

I decided to start Ethos, Pothos, & Logos to have a place to share my love of all things plants and home, but that is just a part of who I am.

When I am not tending to my apartment jungle, I wear many hats.

I am the Inspirational Founder of a pediatric cancer organization – The Honeysuckle Foundation for Children with Cancer. This nonprofit is an extension of who I am and how I can give back to a community that helped shape me to be who I am today. Being a pediatric cancer survivor gives me a bit of a different perspective on life, and this organization serves as a reminder for me that mindset is half of the battle.

But wait, there’s more. I also run a company, along with my mom and sister – Bee-Causes. Born from a mix of philanthropy and business savvy, this company has allowed us to connect with so many amazing people, groups, and organizations. It has been amazing to assist them in spreading their messaging and awareness.

At the end of the day, nothing makes me happier than getting to snuggle on the couch with my 2 dogs. Romeo (a yorkie pom who is smarter than any dog should be) and Weston (a papichon who is the sweetest) are my little buds who I can’t imagine life without. They like sitting amongst the plants just as much as I do and are a great motivator to go on a walk, even when I really don’t feel like it.

All of this happens alongside my normal 9-5 job. Can you tell I try to do too much?

Life is a little bit crazy and can sometimes be pretty hard, but I saw something recently that really stuck with me – choose your hard. Life is full of decisions and some choices are easier than others, but either way, those decisions are ours and ours alone. It is what we do with those decisions and how the ripples of those decisions affect our lives.

All in all, I just wanted to say hi, my name is Alicia. It’s nice to meet you. I hope you like it here!
